Celebi Appears For The Second Month of Pokemon's 20th Anniversary

The time has come, a rare Pokemon has made a journey through time and has appeared before us now all we have to do is go out and obtain it.

That's right the time has come for the second event of Pokemon's 20th anniversary, and this month you will have the chance to get Celebi the adorable little time traveling Pokemon. Sadly you can't actually travel through time with this guy but you should still go out and get one nonetheless it will bring you one step closer to completing the Pokedex.

Celebi is obtained differently than Mew was last month, instead of picking up a code you can get this mythical Pokemon by starting up any of your 3ds Pokemon games whether it is X and Y or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Then go to mystery gift (make sure you have internet or this won't work) once you're in mystery gift select receive gift and then next choose get via internet finally hit yes to confirm.

And that's all there is to it now Celebi is yours all you have to do is start up the game and talk to the lady at the Pokemon center. Your Celebi will have the ability Natural Cure and will come at level 100, also unlike Mew it will come with four moves Confusion, Recover, Heal Bell, and Safeguard.

And like last time I will put a picture below to show which Pokemon are being given away for the rest of the months this year.

Pokemon Sun And Pokemon Moon's Release Date And More

Seen as how my last post was pretty long I'm going to try and make this one as quick and to the point as I can so let's see how this goes.

Today nintendo released a video stating the official announcement for Pokemon Sun and Moon's release, the video is a total of two minutes long and will be very nostalgic for anyone who has been with Pokemon since the beginning. It shows quick shots of every generation from 1 to 6 including Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, it reaches out to you no matter which generation is your favorite. I'll be adding the video in at the end of this that way you can watch it for yourself and make your own opinions.

Near the end of the video however you see very fast shots of what we will be seeing in these new games, we see a new Pokemon Center design as well as different vehicles like a pickup truck, something that could be a Pokemon Center ambulance and what seems like a firetruck with a Blastoise riding on it. There is also a picture of what could be some type of resort with a fountain that has a Horsea spraying water from it's mouth, for the tropical looking design we could be getting a game based somewhere with a very warm climate, sorry Ice types. And then finally one of the last things we are shown is the development of what could be our new bird Pokemon that we run into after starting our adventure.

And when it's all said and done we are shown that these new games will in fact be coming holiday of this year, so sometime around december.

I don't know about you but I know what I'm asking to get for christmas.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Leaked

New Pokemon info was leaked about two new games that are to be officially announced Friday February 26th or basically the day after this is posted. As seen in the title of this post the new games will be called Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, the discovery of these new games came when nintendo registered for the trademarks. The leaks not only contained the trademark info but also pictures for what the logos will be, I will add that picture below.

First I'd like to talk about how I'm a little surprised that nintendo is jumping right to 7th gen instead of making a Pokemon Z to going into more depth with Zygarde because honestly that was what I had been expecting. Don't get me wrong I'm still happy that we're getting gen 7 but I wanted a little more info on the Dragon and Ground type legendary, especially since it was the weakest legendary made. And the leaks of his differents forms also made me believe that a Pokemon Z would happen before gen 7 however I suppose they could add Zygarde and his forms into Sun and Moon's post game.

Second I'm very curious as to what the new legendary Pokemon will look like and I've already made some speculation as to their typing. The Pokemon Sun legendary will undoubtedly be a fire type however I have a feeling that maybe it'll have a fairy typing to go with it, I don't really have an explanation as to why I feel this way I just do. For the Pokemon Moon legendary I could see it being one of two things, either a pure dark type, or a dark and water type because of how the moon controls the tides.

Third I can't wait to see what the story line for these games will be and I hope we'll get something along the lines of both the story of X and Y as well as Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and when I saw that I mean I want a story that makes me feel like I'm actually saving the world. X and Y's story in my opinion was very well done and I really enjoyed playing through it, I also was shocked beyond words when (*Spoiler Alert*) Lysandre said Pokemon would no longer exist. That felt like a huge step in the Pokemon story progression compared to previous games where they were just criminal organizations. And in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire where Maxie and Archie realize that they've made a mistake and decide to help you stop the legendary, I loved how they progressed as characters after finding out they made a mistake.

Fourth I'd like a good post game story like what was in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire with the Delta Episode I really enjoyed the extra story and it gave me another reason to keep playing.

And last but not least, it's called Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, Solrock and Lunatone have to get mega evolutions. This isn't something that's optional Solrock is a sun and Lunatone is a moon not giving them mega evolutions or at least regular evolutions in games called Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon is not ok in my opinion.

And that's all I will most likely be posting something about this topic again after the official announcement depending on what new info is announced and I will continue to make posts with every new info drop or leak that we get.

The Search For A 320 Ghost Shell Is Over

Have you been running around in Destiny trying to find a 320 Ghost Shell to up your light level? Well you no longer need to do this because Bungie has recently announced that they will be giving away 320 Ghost Shells to people who are participating in the Crimson Doubles event, turns out the drop rate for these Shells are lower than expected and so Bungie is giving them away. However there are some conditions that must be met in order to receive these long sought after 320 Shells and here they are.

1. Anyone who has competed in seven matches of Crimson Doubles will receive the 320 Shell

And that's just about it compete in seven matches and you're guaranteed a lovely 320 Ghost Shell to call your own, they will be delivered to the postmaster by February 23rd and you will be receiving one Shell per account not per character. This means that you'll only get one Ghost Shell even if you have three characters so choose which character you equip it to wisely. Also it's completely random which Shell you'll receive but it will be either the Crimson Shell or the Chocolate Shell, personally I'm hoping for the Crimson one but we'll see what happens. And in case you don't know what either of those Shells look like there will be a picture of each one below.

New Info On Upcoming Content For Destiny.... Well Kinda

So I'll start this post by saying that I love Destiny and that I've been with the game almost since the beginning of it's release and like most people who have been playing this game I've been wondering when new content was going to be announced. Before the winter break Bungie informed us that we would be getting a large update for this spring that would be the biggest thing we've seen since the Taken King, but since then communication between Bungie and the player base has been lacking.

Well no need to worry well at least not as much, Bungie's latest weekly update gave us a little more information on what is coming to us in the future it wasn't much but at least it was something.

In this Bungie informed us that coming with this release we will be receiving a significant increase in Light, as well as new gear for us to earn and even more exciting than that we will be getting new challenges for PvE. Now personally I'm hoping for some awesome new Story Missions or maybe even a couple of Strikes a new Raid would be really nice to but I doubt we'll see another one of those before Destiny 2. But who knows we could get one in the larger expansion they mentioned that is scheduled to come out sometime later this year, when? I'd put my money on somewhere in the September range.

Also regarding Destiny 2 Bungie has confirmed the rumor that the sequel is being pushed back and will be released next year in 2017, am I mad about this? No absolutely not because if they're pushing it back it means that they are working hard to put as much time as possible into it so we get really awesome new content.

What am I expecting in the new expansion and in Destiny 2? Honestly I don't know what to expect.

What am I hoping to see in the new expansion and in Destiny 2? Well that's a pretty long list but I'll trim it down for you.

As I said before I would like more Story Missions, Strikes, and a Raid but beyond that I'd like to see Bungie expand a little more on some of the things we still have questions about like the different alien races. We've had a total of two DLCs based around The Hive, one around The Fallen and vanilla Destiny covered The Vex, but what about the Cabal? I'd like to see some more missions centered around them, maybe give us a Cabal Raid. Or maybe give us some more Vex missions I mean come on they're robots that can time travel I can't be the only one that wants to know more.

Either way I'm glad that we've finally gotten some information on what is to come in this game that I love oh so much even if it was only a little and I can't wait to see what both this and next year bring content wise.

Pokemon's 20th Anniversary

As anyone who plays Pokemon and even some who don't play know this year is Pokemon's 20th Anniversary and to celebrate this occasion Game Freak has decided to release a new event each month, each event will allow you to obtain a legendary Pokemon that is unobtainable in the games. 

You will be able to participate in these events with both Pokemon X and Y as well as Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

As long as you have one of these games and a 3ds or 2ds system you will be able to receive the legendary Pokemon that is being given away, in order to do this you'll have to visit a participating Gamestop and ask for the event code. The instructions to redeeming the code are on the card you'll be given so you simply follow those steps as listed and you'll have your legendary Pokemon. 

This month the Pokemon that you can get is Mew and it will come as a level 100 with the Synchronize ability and a single move, Pound, not great but your getting a free Mew so don't complain. Also Mew is able to learn any move in the game so you can teach it whatever you wish with all of those TMs and HMs you've collected through your journey through the games.
